Monday, March 19, 2018. This last weekend March 17th I ran this race. I just want to start by saying I was really nervous about this one . I had at least 4 people tell me how hard this race was going to be so I knew it was going to be a challenge but a new challenge is always welcome. How can you complain when it is 60 degrees with a light mist. The views went on forever. This is at the top of El Capitan. Getting up here was an adventure. I want to mention a couple thing.
The March 2015 Newsletter is out. Runners of all ages and levels are participating in various Southern California ultra marathons and collecting as many points as possible. At the end of each calendar year we meet for games, raffle, food and drinks and give out the well earned age group awards.
Recording my training and experiences building up to my races. In Aug 2015 it will be the Julian 24 hour run. Thursday, August 27, 2015. The weather forecast changed a bit and shows 88-90 for the high Sat and mid 70s for the low. This is going to be tougher with the heat. Monday, August 24, 2015. Bib and t-shirt pick-up will.

Friday, August 7, 2015. Jennifer Henderson has generously offered to be at the Sunrise parking area with water and ice for this training run. This will be at mile 8. Still another 11 back to School Camp after that with no water stops, so still recommending at least 2 bottles or a hydration pack. Wednesday, August 5, 2015. We will meet at the Sweetwater.
